We invite prospective students and their families to book a session to visit a Cognia Academy hub. This informal visit provides an opportunity to explore the environment, meet with staff, and ask any questions while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.
Once you’ve decided to proceed, the next step is to complete the Application and Admission Forms. These forms gather essential information about the student and help us begin tailoring the educational experience to their needs.
The student will spend a full day at the Cognia Academy hub, where they will be interviewed by the Experience Architect and Pathway Partner to discuss their goals, interests, and aspirations. During this visit, the student will also complete a baseline assessment in English and Mathematics to help us understand their current academic level.
Following the student’s day at the hub, a meeting will be arranged with the parents, Experience Architect, and Pathway Partner which can be held in person or online. During this session, we will share feedback on the student’s performance, discuss their potential pathway, and understand the parents’ aspirations and vision for their child’s education.
If the student is accepted, the final paperwork will be completed. This includes signing the Cognia Academy Parent Charter, a shared statement of commitment between Cognia Academy and the parents to support the student’s educational journey as a partnership. The Admissions Contract will also be signed during this step.
To finalise the admission, the Once-Off Admissions Fee and the Annual Registration Fee must be paid. This secures the student’s place at Cognia Academy and ensures they are fully prepared to start their educational journey with us.
